Tepa Seventh- day Adventist Junior High school is the official name of the school. It was established by the Seventh-day Adventist Church in September, 2007; hence the name Seventh- day Adventist Junior High school (S.D.A J.H. S). It is located at Tepa Beposo, behind Ibrahimdiyia English and Arabic Basic School.
The establishment of the school was a dream of the church, parents and the then Headmaster of S.D.A Primary school-now a retiree (Mr. Oduro Adjei Mensah) some decades ago, due to the splendid performance of S.D.A primary school in terms of academics, sports etc.
This dream became quarterly fulfilled in the year 1990 when the then District Director of Education, Mrs. Lydia Osei and Nananom as well as other stake - holders promised the opening of Junior Secondary school now Junior High school during a ground durbar  for an award ceremony.
After the promise, the church, the then Headmaster as well as the P.T.A never rested on their oars, rather they forged ahead. However, due to some setbacks the dreamers could not actualize their dreams on time as they expected.
But like John Roebling who designed and built an extra- ordinary bridge that joins the area of Brooklyn to Manhattan in New York(USA), the dreamers held on to their dreams until the year 2007, when an opportunity availed itself for the fulfilment of the dream.
